This fall, Girls for Good is partnering with Cohen Children’s Medical Center and the Social Determinants of Health Family Wellness Screening & Patient Navigation Program to host a community diaper drive supporting families across Long Island. Inspired by the hospital’s ongoing work to address diaper need, which affects nearly half of American families, our drive will collect diapers in sealed packages to support local parents facing financial strain. By joining forces with the Social Determinates of Health Family Wellness Screening and Patient Navigation Program, we aim to reduce health-related stress, promote child wellness, and ensure that no caregiver has to choose between basic necessities and their baby’s comfort. We can make a meaningful difference, one pack of diapers at a time!
